Year of the Rabbit Card

This was a personal project that I had worked out in small pieces for many years. It was completed just as the Year of the Rabbit rang in.
I noticed that, in my very large family, the Rabbit was a popular birth sign, starting with my late father in 1939. As the number grew, I thought to commemorate the rabbit signs with a unique piece. Since I have a deep passion for stamp design, it was the perfect way to honor not only the rabbits in my family, but those who have passed. I sent out the cards, with individually adhered stamps in metallic red envelopes, in 2023 – the most recent year of the rabbit. In addition, I made multiples of the individual stamps, using them on holiday cards and postcards throughout the year.
